10.15 - 11.30: BABY friendly POST-NATAL Yoga class
Mums will enjoy gentle posture work that focuses on restoring alignment and tone, and providing relief from lifting, carrying, and nursing, as well as learn breathing and meditation techniques. Mums are welcome to bring along their baby too (class is ideal for new mums and babies 6 weeks old to crawling, mums must get the all clear from their GP/healthcare practitioner in order to join the class). 6 week course starting on Tuesday 9 July, only 72 eur, now taking bookings.
12.00 - 13.15: CHAIR YOGA
This is a wonderful alternative for those who can’t get on the floor to do a traditional Yoga class sitting/lying down on a mat or those who may get fatigued by standing for longer periods of time.In this gentle class you will increase your flexibility, reduce stiffness, de-stress and find more energy as you use a chair to practise modified versions of traditional Yoga postures, as well as learning breathing and meditation techniques. 4 week course starting on Tue 14 May, drop ins available but advance booking is required, please contact Nadia on 087 9927933

SOUND bath evening:
Come and experience the relaxing and healing qualities of being bathed in sound.
Wash away your stress with a relaxing Sound Bath. Hear and feel the healing power of therapeutic Tibetan bowls, gongs, chimes, Native American flute, shruti box, rain stick and rattles and many other relaxing sounds.
Feel the sound vibration that works through your body causing deep relaxation and helping to heal physical and emotional issues, stress release and for improved sleep.
During the session we will also chant.
Chanting frees us from the excessive preoccupation with our bodies and with material concerns. It frees us from fear of old age and death. We begin to identify with the timelessness of the soul and consequently begin to shed neurotic habits that no longer serve and that no longer seem relevant. By returning us to what is essential, it clears away subconscious habit patterns. Embraced by the steady rhythm and by the vibration that connects us all, our thoughts combine wholly with the sound current.
All welcome**. The session will be facilitated by Marta L.Toropow, who is a Dublin based, gifted experienced healer and teacher who has been working in Sound Healing for a number of years. More details on Marta's Sound Baths available here.
